What Can A New, Hardworking Real Estate Agent Make On Average In South Florida?

I am very interested in getting involved in real estate. My goal is to own and manage 4-5 multifamily properties to be able to collect rental income. I think starting out as an agent may be a good way to get involved in the industry. What can a new, hardworking, agent expect to make on average starting out?? Are there anyone in the Florida area that has an idea?? Thanks in advance.
