SYDNEY -(Dow Jones)- Australian Securities and Investments Commission Chairman Tony D’Aloisio said Friday that he is concerned about the real estate sector as the global economic downturn continues.

Many real estate developers today are seeing glimpses of hope through the global financial crisis, as the real estate players that exist in the market today are the real players who knew how to manage their businesses in a time of crisis and made the right decisions to protect their investments from dissolving.
