Is it possible to sit for the exam and get the license but never become a practicing real estate agent? Just as a sort of safety net?

I was wondering what states allow college graduates to get a broker’s license without being a real estate agent first?

I need a internet site that tells me information. I want to know about how much they make, what all they do with there career, what it takes to be a real estate agent.

Canadien resident? If they move from Canada to California (as a Canadien resident and licensed RE Agent in Canada), can they still obtain and use their California Real Estate License? Sorry if that was more confusing than it had to be lol. Thanks in advance.

Also what is the difference between an “agent” and a “broker”..
And is it better to do commercial real estate or residential?
