The State of Oregon no longer issues a real estate salesperson license as most other states do. July 1st of 2002, Oregon converted all of their real estate salesperson licenses over to temporary associate broker licenses. The temporary associate brokers were required to complete an Associate Broker Transition Course or ABTC before June 30th of 2005. New licensees will be receiving a an associate brokers license and not a salesperson license.
Anyone interested in working as a real estate agent in Oregon, must obtain a real estate license from the Oregon Real Estate Commission.
