I currently have a broker’s license in California. How can I get a license to sell real estate in new york as well?

Unfortunately, California is not one of the states that New York currently shares license reciprocity with.
However, you should still be able to obtain your salesperson license in New York, you will just need to meet their licensing requirements. Visit the New York Real Estate License page for the requirements.
In addition, you may be eligible to waive the educational requirements so long as you can provide the state with a transcript of your original course completion in California from a college, University or recognized real estate school. Your previous education will of course need to meet the state standards for you to qualify for this.
