A real estate exam, much like any other test, can play havoc on your nerves. This is especially true as you wait for your testing date to grow near. The reality of the situation is that most agents do pass their license exam on the first attempt. A lot of your success on the exam depends on the quality of education you have received leading up to this point.
A good real estate school will have you so prepared to take this test that you could do it with your hands tied behind your back and talking on the phone. While a bad school, well, lets just say that you shouldn’t go with a bad school.
Regardless of whether you were given a good education or not, tests can be pretty scary for many of us. They have been ever since our first quiz in grade school and never seemed to get any easier. The best you can do is make sure that you are prepared and have faith in everything that you have worked so hard to learn. Don’t waste time thinking that you can pass the test, know you can pass it!

What to Expect on the Exam:
Every state is responsible for creating and providing their own test. One of the
challenges for us as educators is that the Real Estate Commission will change the questions and even the layout of the exam from time to time. This reduces the number of people trying to cheat on the exam or defraud the state in any way.
However, with all of that being said, the exam questions are almost always multiple choice. Why? Because they are easier for students and they are easier to grade. Here are a couple samples of what you might see on the test:
I. function to bring borrowers and lenders together for a loan.
II. seldom make and service loans on their own accord.
(A) I only
(B) II only
(C) Both I and II
(D) Neither I nor II
(A) the amount of the debt.
(B) who is borrower and who is lender.
(C) the terms of repayment and the interest rate.
(D) all of the above.

Real Estate Exam Study Books:
There have been a lot of books written on the subject of passing your real estate exam. Some serve as practice for the test while others focus on preparing you for what to expect. Below are a few books that we recommend to students:

License Exam Resources:
The exam questions often vary from state to state. Which means that you should keep in mind that the majority of the resources below do not contain the exact questions that you can expect to see on the real estate license exam in your state. This is in part due to the fact that they were not created to be cheat sheets, but rather free study tools that if used correctly can prepare you for the actual test.
Hopefully, the real estate exam links below will give everyone an overall idea of what they can expect to be asked on the test. If you know of any other practice exams not included, please let us know.
Hopefully, the resources above will give all of you a little bit of ground to get started on when it comes time to prepare for your real estate license exam. We can tell you that as we look over these sample tests, we notice that they are very similar. Though the answer sometimes varies, meaning they should serve as an aid to those of you in states across the United States.
