City real estate tax rate discussed (The Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star)

It might seem a little backward, but two weeks after they voted to approve a real estate tax rate, Fredericksburg City Council members are asking residents to weigh in on what that rate should be. The council voted 5-2 at its May 26 meeting to set the rate at 70.5 cents per $100 of value….
