Jan Gillmartin

Having been born and educated in Melbourne, Jan soon became a convert to becoming a country chick when sent to Coleraine after university for her first teaching position.

Jan has never returned to live in Melbourne and over the years has developed a love of trees and rural living within small communities and thus she arrived in Yea three years ago.  Within each community she has become very involved and currently is a Director for the local Bendigo Bank.

She has had a variety of careers all of which she has truly enjoyed.

Following on from teaching she moved to child welfare, then she and her late husband owned and operated a newsagency for eight years before Jan decided she would like to move into the world of property. Jan studied for her full license and since that time she has worked in various parts of Victoria and with various franchises and individually owned businesses.

She has worked in almost every section of the property industry covering sales, property management, reception, trust accounting, and holiday accommodation. She tells us that realestate is in her blood. Jan loves to play golf, garden and read, not forgetting visiting family and friends.
