I've been learning and looking for new and effective ways to build my SERP and overall SEO for a real estate site for small town in Colorado. Even here the competition is fierce. I appreciate this assistance!

In regards to your question. It is always best to use unique content when building links. By creating your keyword pages with unique content, you will be in essence giving them more authority and they should be able to pull more weight in an effort to boost your rankings.
You can of course use a article rewriter tool or something of that nature, though an original article would be best. If you post a duplicate article, you are unlikely to see much benefit coming in from these links, so I would recommend avoiding that all together.

@Realty Robot – Thank you for visiting and your comments. For your 2nd tactic, "Snatch up all of your keyword real estate", would you suggest creating entirely unique content for each individual site?

I’m definitely glad that I stumbled upon this great resource, albeit months a bit late.
